DARK AND COLD – EASHO, THE ARCANE

Unlike Gadun, its neighbouring planet, Easho is dark and cold, an ideal environment for the Glooney nation. In the damp, soft ground of Easho, they have built a sophisticated culture with a high degree of hierarchical organisation. Their line of command spans three and a half times around the equator.

Seismic waves often wobble the entire planet. The phenomenon, known as Eashquake, is comparable to a slow earthquake that last for hours but creates little damage.

Not just Gloon and Dune

The military is at the heart of Gloonian society. Everybody is conscripted at an early age and likes it.

Glooney preference for fierceness and raw force has lead to breeds of particularly savage domestic animals, such as the stiletto-horned cow, the glooney-eater cat and the blood-sucker chicken. Employees in the animal husbandry industry must wear steel protective clothes and electrical weapons at all times. Meat consumption is high at 2,65 kg per person x day.

Inbound tourism is practically non-existent, but Glooneys like to go on a mercenary spree in foreign wars. Easho is a sociologist’s and alienologist’s heaven with social structures and cultural features that are found nowhere else.

Few researchers have returned, however.
